The Arne Sofa designed by Antonio Citterio is an essential piece of modern bar furniture that should be made compulsory in every club in town. How can the greatness that is the Arne be ignored!! I don’t know whether if Arnold Schwarzenegger has one at home but it’ll be a real shame if he din have the chair which carries his namesake, the Arne.
The reviews of the Arne are near incomprehensible. Sentences that make no sense to me like “The modularity of Arne elements enables to obtain seats with different depths that can be arranged along the wall or in an open space configuration..” , the horribleness continues on . What a load of fluff. Let me give you my take on the Arne.
I love it. Fair and simple. The funky purple immediately draws my eye and would fit right in at a hip-hop reggae bar, my kind of place. All that’s missing is a 50-cent or a Snoop Dog somewhere coming right in and seated in the Arne with his entourage of fans.
The natural curvature of the back rest allows one to rest comfortably after a whole day’s work and the gentle bend at the end seems made just right for lying down and resting your legs.
If there was ever a sofa made just right for the tired artiste, the Arne is it.
